Resorts and Hotels on the West Crescent of the Palm
We will take our journey around the Palm starting from the west crescent, past Altantis on the tip of the crescent and over to the east, before looking at those resorts and hotels on the trunk.
Resorts on the west crescent of the Palm benefit from unbridled views of JBR and the new Bluewaters Island housing Ain Dubai, as well as incredible shimmering sunsets over the Gulf.
One&Only The Palm Dubai
One&Only The Palm is arguably the most exclusive luxury hotel on Palm Jumeirah. With architecture inspired by Andalusia’s Moorish palaces, cuisine by Michelin-starred chef Yannick Alléno and beachfront accommodation, this place is dripping with splendour.

One&Only is perfect for those seeking an intimate and highly luxurious experience. Take in awe-inspiring panoramic views over the Arabian Gulf and Dubai skyline. Climb aboard the private boat and step into the city, or enjoy the 850-square meter infinity pool with its spectacular double daybeds to relax, as well as an adults-only pool for a more private dip.
Guests can undergo a head-to-toe makeover starting at the Guerlain garden-circled spa and finishing at the Bastien Gonzalez nail salon and Alexandre Zouari Hair Salon.
Other gourmet highlights include the create-your-own-dessert ‘Pastry Library’ and the One&Only Royal Mirage Dubai on Jumeirah Beach, featuring a further seven restaurants, which can be reached by water taxi. The hotel even has a private marina.

This 5-star hotel on the west crescent of the Palm oozes Ottoman-inspired opulence and has a private golden sand beach, infinity pool and a huge theatre. A collection of 405 luxury rooms and suites, 38 “Royal Residences”, and 10 restaurants, you won’t be short on things to do.

Families are well set up at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray with family-style rooms, a kid’s club, a huge outdoor water feature within the resort’s swimming pools, complimentary access to the Wild Wadi waterpark, and a cinema and shopping arcade on-site.
Couples can revel in fine dining with a choice of nine restaurants and the superb spa, which has a snow room and the largest Turkish bath in the Middle East. There are plenty of water sports activities you can add to your experience, as well as tennis and biking or enjoy relaxing in your beautiful Ottoman-style room.

W Dubai – The Palm
The W Dubai is one of the best adult resorts on Palm Jumeirah. The vibrant and lively hotel puts on music events with famous DJ’s, perfect if you’re looking for a classy party atmosphere.

The uninterrupted gulf views from this 5-star luxury hotel can be admired atop beanbags on the private beach. There is also a network of swimming pools; the adult-only pool is extra fun thanks to a swim-up bar. Spice up the afternoon with a rejuvenating spa treatment, or try your hand at the watersports on offer.
Evenings present plenty of opportunities to enjoy yourself at a range of interesting restaurants, the stylish adults-only rooftop bar and a shisha lounge. SoBe rooftop bar has some of Dubai’s best-uninterrupted sunset views.

Raffles the Palm
One of the newest hotels to open on Palm Jumeirah, Raffles the Palm (previously named Emerald Palace Kempinski) draws together European styles, contemporary design and warm hospitality fit for couples and families. Think marble floors against gold and platinum finishes – this is Dubai-style palatial luxury at its best.

Stand-out features at this property include the fantastic 23-treatment room Cinq Mondes Spa and Dubai’s biggest indoor swimming pool. The outdoor pool also has amazing cityscape views, and there’s a children’s pool within eyesight for younger members of the family.
Several restaurants on-site offer an ample range of cuisines, including seafood, Italian, Japanese and a European garden-themed affair. One for utter indulgence on the grandest scale.

Sofitel Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa
The Sofitel Dubai The Palm is a magnificent beach escape in Dubai. A 5-star offering with a French-Polynesian theme, it is a fitting venue for both couples and families.

The resort offers a huge array of dining and drinking options as well as a kid’s club and play areas – including slides into the pool! A choice of six outdoor swimming pools will keep little ones occupied and Aquaventure Waterpark is only a 5-minute drive away. The resort also has an excellent Amura Kids Club offering beautiful indoor and outdoor entertainment options to your under 12’s.

Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort
Anantara is a wonderful resort on Palm Jumeirah for straight-up beachy luxury. With its distinctly south-east Asian vibe, it’s a relaxing stay for couples and families with plenty of fabulous dining options and activities to keep everyone happy.

The hotel’s architecture harks to Thai temples, a theme that extends through the spa and 50-meter infinity pool, as well as the resort’s huge lagoon-style pools that interconnect through the resort. Couples can enjoy hammam rituals at the Anantara Spa while youngsters are entertained at kid and teen clubs.
What makes Anantara the Palm unique is the UAE’s only overwater villas, with a glass floor so you can view the marine life beneath. If you want that added privacy, private beachfront villas have their own pool.
The resort boasts over 400m of private beachfront from where you can try your hand at various water sports and enjoy the views back to the eye-catching Burj Al Arab. Anantara is definitely one of the most delightful family resorts on the Palm.

Rixos the Palm Hotel & Suites
Rixos Hotel & Suites sit at the very easternmost tip of Palm Jumeirah. It is an excellent resort for couples or families offering an ultra-all-inclusive package. With eleven restaurants and bars plus over 100 international beverage brands to try, it’s well worth it.

There are four pools to enjoy at Rixos the Palm; two for families, one exclusively for kids and another semi-Olympic-sized for adults. Further entertainment for little ones includes the fully supervised Rixy Kids Club, permitting adults the time for a treatment in the Turkish-inspired Anjana Spa.
The Turkish theme continues throughout the resort’s 316 rooms and suites, all offering ocean views. There are family-sized suites on offer and some exclusive villas ranging from two to five-bedroom, each with its own exclusive private pool.

Best Hotels & Resorts on the Trunk of Palm Jumeirah
Finally, returning back towards the city and the highrises oF JBR and the Marina, there are a number of more hidden hotels in amongst the luxury apartment complexes. Check out our favourite resort hotels on the trunk of Palm Jumeirah:
Dukes the Palm, a Royal Hideaway Hotel
For an elegant stay in Dubai, Dukes the Palm does not disappoint. Take in the best views from the sky-high indoor pool on the 14th floor or the superb beachfront infinity pool and private beach (yes this is where photographers get THAT iconic view of the Dubai skyline from!).

There’s some classic luxury to be experienced here with a Champagne lounge and specialist spots serving cigars and high-quality whiskies. The gourmet steakhouse and Indian restaurant are also fantastic with sea views.
The water features are a highlight at this luxury hotel on Palm Jumeirah, and in addition to the infinity pool, it boasts an outdoor lazy river and heated indoor pool. Water sports lovers are in for a treat with Hydro Water Sports, one of the city’s most popular jet ski and watercraft providers – think everything from kayaks to flyboards!

Fairmont the Palm
The Fairmont is a great hotel resort option on Palm Jumeirah for couples or families who like to relax and explore. Turrets and archways give an Arabian palace feel, with a private white sandy beach backdrop and sweeping views of Dubai. Day trips to explore the glittering city are made easy with a free daily shuttle bus for guests, stopping at the Mall of the Emirates and Dubai Mall alongside the Burj Khalifa.

Back at your hotel on the Palm Jumeirah, there are gourmet cuisines from Arabia to Europe to South America. A unique offering at this hotel on the Palm Jumeirah are the cooking masterclasses by Michelin-trained chefs.

Last but not least, as you approach the exit to the Palm and back to Jumeirah Beach, Five Palm Jumeirah brings a different vibe to the Palm Jumeirah Hotels and is all about the glamour of Dubai.

With 470 guest rooms, the hotel is popular with party-goers and foodies, offering a range of bars, restaurants and three nightclubs to satiate both laid-back and high-energy occasions. It has a private beach and five pools, including kids and adults-only, as well as spa treatments and a spa pool with hydrotherapy jets.
Enjoy views back to the beautiful beachfront of JBR and the towering skyscrapers of Dubai Marina.
