Dubai’s average daytime maximum temperature in April is 33.3°C (92°F).
April in Dubai is a transition month. Things really heat up over the month of April, from a mild, pleasant typical Spring start to often sweltering days by month-end. April has historically ranged from highs of 30°C (86°F) at the start of the month through to 35°C (9°5F) at the end of April.
Skies are usually clear with 10+ hours a day of sunlight. The odd extremely hot day may be felt with temperatures in excess of 43.5°C (110°F).
Overnight in the city, you can expect the temperature to lower between 19°C (66°F) to 23°C (73.4°F). You are unlikely to need an extra layer in the evening during April – but air conditioning can still be fierce indoors!
Dubai Sea Temperature in April
In April, you should expect sea temperatures on average of 25.8°C (78.4°F) (Maximum sea temperatures are expected of 28°C (80.6°F) but can be as low as 23.6°C (76.2°F).
Many resorts are still heating their pools into April to ensure pleasant swimming temperatures.

Other weather patterns that are common in Dubai in April
The weather can *almost* be guaranteed as hot and sunny in Dubai throughout April, though the occasional late season thunderstorm is not unheard of. Certainly no need to pack your umbrella just in case, any downpour is likely to come and go quickly – though causes chaos in its path!
You may also experience some exceptionally hot days. Keep an eye on daily temperatures, it is not wise to be out in the sun during the peak of the day so plan your days well between indoor and outdoor activities in April.
The occasional dust storm may be experienced in Dubai in April.
There is a good deal of daylight hours in April, but cloud cover is common, expect 11 hours of daylight on average and a UV rating of 8.
What should I pack for April in Dubai?
It significantly heats up over the month of April, meaning there is little need to pack any extra layers or pullovers. As we mentioned though, air conditioning indoors can still be brutal so you may still want a cardigan or pullover for shopping malls and any indoor activities.
Evenings are really pleasant in Dubai in April, perfect to enjoy an evening dinner cruise or head into the desert (Just be aware of the mozzies, they like this sort of weather too. Definitely pack your bug spray if you’re prone to bites).
