Even if the Wiesn could not open again this year, you can be sure that the Bavarian spirit of Oktoberfest is still being enjoyed around the world by those countries lucky enough to be able to gather in public spaces again.

The biggest celebration in town this year you will find at Foxglove Steakhouse & Gastropub and Soho Beer Garden. Bottled Bavarian favorites will be available including Erdinger Weißbier, Erdinger Dunkel, and Franziskaner Weissbier. Those who prefer it traditional, grab 1-liter steins of Paulaner Hefe Weissbier and Hofbrau original on tap for 69 AED.
Don’t forget Bavarian bites too, German pretzels served with a selection of traditional dips, pan fried chicken schnitzel oven baked with plum tomato sauce parmesan, mozzarella, and all the trimmings, as well as veal bratwurst sausages served with fries, onion gravy and sauerkraut.
Dishes start from 55 AED.
Live entertainment is also on the cards, 6:00 pm to 3:00 am Tuesday to Saturday.

Wavehouse, Atlantis the Palm

Enjoy Bavarian style dishes, a live German Oompah band and DJ at family-friendly Wavehouse, Atlantis the Palm. Think Brezen pretzels, Reiberdatschi with apple sauce, wurst with bacon and apple sauerkraut and Bavarian meats with wholegrain mustard.
Finish it off with apple strudel, double German chocolate cake and black cherry and raspberry Kuchen – oh and pop-up draught hops stations on the outdoor terrace.

Fancy cheese and charcuterie boards paired with Oktoberfest hops? Pub favorite in downtown Brew House (CityMax Hotel, Safeer Tower) is offering an extensive selection of tasty German dishes as part of their Oktoberfest offering this year.
On the menu you’ll find Kartoffel soup, super-sized pretzels, semmelknodel, veal schnitzel, hackbraten, sauerkraut and potato dumplings. Finish it off with warm apple strudel, black forest pastry, and double-chocolate cake for dessert.

Bavarian favourites with a British twist can be enjoyed at The Scene, Dubai Marina. Dishes include a grilled beef bratwurst in a German roll, chicken schnitzel with traditional coleslaw, grilled bratwurst with mash, The Scene’s smash burger or beyond veg burger.
Deserts on offer include apple strudel, ice cream, custard, and a pretzel bun with salted butter.
